Welcome to GoBaan™. GoBaan is operated by Brainjar Media, LLC.
These Terms explain the rules for using GoBaan, including our website, location pages, investigation tools, user accounts, comments, reviews, beta features, evidence uploads, team features, and any related services we provide.
By using GoBaan, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use GoBaan.
GoBaan is a haunted-location and paranormal investigation platform.
Users can explore haunted locations, research reported phenomena, create accounts, comment, review locations, save or follow locations, and, as features become available, log investigations, upload evidence, create profiles, join teams, and share paranormal research.
GoBaan is a platform for documentation, discovery, and community. It does not verify every story, claim, legend, report, investigation, or piece of evidence posted by users.
You may need an account to use certain GoBaan features.
You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login information secure, and not impersonate another person, team, business, investigator, or organization.
You are responsible for activity that happens through your account.
GoBaan may suspend, limit, or remove accounts that violate these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or the safety of the platform.
GoBaan is intended for users who are 13 years of age or older.
If you are under 18, you should use GoBaan only with permission from a parent or guardian.
Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising minors who use GoBaan or participate in paranormal investigations, location visits, or related activities.
GoBaan does not give you permission to enter any property.
You are responsible for making sure you have legal access before visiting or investigating any location.
Location information on GoBaan may be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, or based on public reports, folklore, user submissions, or third-party sources. Always verify access, hours, safety conditions, and local rules before visiting any place.
You are responsible for your own safety.
GoBaan may allow users to post or upload content, including comments, reviews, investigation logs, photos, videos, audio recordings, evidence files, team information, location suggestions, ratings, notes, and other materials.
You are responsible for anything you submit.
By posting content to GoBaan, you confirm that:
You keep ownership of your content. However, by submitting content to GoBaan, you give Brainjar Media, LLC permission to host, display, reproduce, format, moderate, share, and use that content as part of operating, promoting, and improving GoBaan.
This permission allows GoBaan to show your content on the platform, include it in location pages or investigation records, display it in search results or social features, and preserve the usefulness of the platform.
Some GoBaan features may be in beta, including investigation logging, evidence uploads, location ratings, investigator profiles, and team tools.
Beta features may change, break, be limited, or be removed. We may invite users in waves, limit access, test different features, or change how tools work based on feedback.
Please do not upload anything you are not comfortable sharing or storing on GoBaan.
GoBaan does not guarantee that uploaded evidence proves paranormal activity. Evidence, reports, comments, ratings, and investigations are user-submitted and may reflect personal experiences, opinions, interpretations, mistakes, hoaxes, or incomplete information.
GoBaan may allow comments, reviews, ratings, and other community features.
You agree not to use GoBaan to harass, threaten, shame, dox, impersonate, stalk, or attack other users, investigators, teams, witnesses, property owners, businesses, or members of the public.
Skepticism is welcome. Debunking is welcome. Honest disagreement is welcome.
Cruelty, harassment, and bad-faith behavior are not.
GoBaan may remove content or restrict users who violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines.
You agree not to use GoBaan to:
GoBaan may review, edit, hide, remove, or limit content at our discretion.
We may do this to protect users, respect property owners, reduce misinformation, prevent abuse, comply with law, improve the platform, or maintain community standards.
We are not required to publish or keep any user-submitted content.
GoBaan includes haunted-location information, reported phenomena, legends, historical summaries, user reports, and paranormal claims.
This information may come from public sources, user submissions, folklore, local history, personal experience, or third-party references.
GoBaan does not guarantee that any location is haunted, safe, publicly accessible, legally available for investigation, or accurately described.
Use your own judgment. Verify before you go.
GoBaan, including the name, design, branding, layout, features, software, and original platform content, belongs to Brainjar Media, LLC or its licensors.
You may not copy, reproduce, sell, scrape, or misuse GoBaan's platform, branding, database, or original content without permission.
GoBaan may link to outside websites, maps, social profiles, videos, sources, businesses, teams, or other third-party services.
We are not responsible for third-party websites, content, policies, products, services, or actions.
GoBaan is provided “as is” and “as available.”
We do our best to build a useful, reliable platform, but we do not guarantee that GoBaan will always be available, error-free, secure, accurate, or uninterrupted.
We may change, pause, limit, or remove features at any time.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Brainjar Media, LLC is not responsible for injuries, losses, damages, disputes, legal issues, property damage, trespassing claims, accidents, paranormal investigation outcomes, user behavior, or decisions made based on information found on GoBaan.
You use GoBaan and visit any location at your own risk.
We may update these Terms from time to time.
If we make changes, we will update the effective date on this page. Continued use of GoBaan after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
